Why we charge
No ads. No selling your data. Just the trip.
Every map you open, every place card we show, every answer from Scout costs us real money. We pay Google and our AI providers for each one. A subscription pays for exactly that.
It also buys our independence. We don't run ads at you, and we'll never sell what you save or where you go. You're the customer, not the product, and that only works if the people who get value from Treader help keep the lights on.
That's why Free is genuinely free, with no countdown: paying members make it possible for everyone else to plan their first trip for nothing.
Worth more than it costs
If it saves one good day, it's paid for itself.
A year of Pro is $4.17 a month, less than an airport coffee. We'd rather it feel like a rounding error against the dinner you didn't miss, the hike you almost skipped, and the hours you didn't spend wrangling tabs and group chats.
On Discovery, one delayed or bumped flight can turn into a claim worth up to $1,000 back. The plan can pay for a decade in a single afternoon gone sideways.
The honest goal: you should always get far more out of Treader than you put in.
